McNulty had a brief acting career, starting in the 1960s. She left high school with ambitions to become an actress, but found it hard to get an agent. Finally, she made her debut in a 1961 episode of My Three Sons, in which she again appeared in 1967. She was cast in smaller roles in shows such as Mr. Novak, Hazel, and The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis. Soon after her last My Three Sons appearance, she married and settled down. She made her last acting credit seventeen years later, in the movie The House of God, when she tried to renew her acting career. [1]
