The Type-1000 Turbolaser was the standard Ship and Planet based Turbolaser cannon designed and produced by the Mikaru Corporation. It was standard by most definitions of the class of weapon but featured a quick charging capacitor. The Capacitor was fed by a system of energy feeders that absorbed energy shed by the initial shot and pumped it back into the capacitor. Using this system after the first blast was fired the recharge time for each consecutive shot afterwards was lowered by 25% without limiting the weapons range or power.
