A general election was held in Dranland on October 7, 3517. It became necessary after the administration of President Gwendolyn Hayforth-Breckinridge (RFR) was unable to continue with governing due to the collapse of two of its coalition parties, The Good and Encrujicada Democrática. Although the RFR emerged as strongest party, it lost the presidency to Sarah Goodwin (UDA), who waa backed by a multitude of parties organized in the Alliance of the Left.
