Shield 2 is a 2014 American Science Fiction Action film written and directed by J. J. Abrams and sequel to the 2012 film Shield. It stars Alice Braga, Ron Perlman, Asa Butterfield, Keith David, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Andy Serkis, Brad Dourif, Thomas Kretschmann, John Hurt, Christopher Lee, David Tennant, Benedict Cumberbatch, Frank Welker and Robert Davi. John Williams came back as the film's composer. The film was followed by a sequel, Shield 3.
