The M20 Firefly Multiple Launch Rocket System is a UNSC artillery unit. The MLRS is used to preform mid to long range artillery strikes against heavily entrenched units, being used more often than not as a barrage weapon for saturating an area with fire. The vehicle consists of a tracked chassis with an armoured cab, carrying the crew and the necessary systems for driving the vehicle, priming and aiming the weapons and coordinating and remotely operating the weapon system. On the back of the chassis is the self erecting launcher platform carrying two pods. These can be set up to carry six Crossbow rockets, with an intermediate range and high damage potential, using high explosive warheads or deadly submunitions, or carry a single Khan Cruise Missile, capable of heavy damage against a preci
