Planetology is the study of planets. A person who studies planetology has a good understanding of the types of planets found within a crystal sphere. They can study a planet and look for signs of groundling civilisations and can also try to determine the local inhabitants and climate. Astrologers, astronomers, frontiersmen, geomancers and merchants often, but don't always, study planetology.
