Superior Sluggers is an insert set in 2003 Upper Deck. The 18-card set features features Hall of Famers and current stars known for their ability to hit for power. The cards were inserted into Series 2 packs at a rate of 1:8. Derek Jeter is a great hitter and a future Hall of Famer, but both he and Matsui really don’t belong in this set comparing their slugging percentage with the other players in the set.
