Pam Tickell wrote 4 episodes of Coronation Street between December 1964 and March 1966. She was also a storyliner for the programme between Episode 436 (15th February 1965) and Episode 487 (11th August 1965). She wrote a number of radio plays for the BBC northern services from the 1960s to the 1980s including Where Charity Begins, Them and Us, Lucky for Some, Nobody's Twisting Your Arm, What About That There Day?, Only When I Laugh and To Mine Own Self.
