The Memory Wiper is a device capable of erasing short-term memory, 20 minutes at a time. This is done with a properly modulated EM burst that changes the electrical properties of brain cells. It unbinds short term memory before it can imprint as long term memory. Henry Deacon uses this on Jack to prevent the Sheriff interfering with his efforts to bring back Grace Monroe.
