The USS Lindbergh was a Starfleet vessel in operation during the 25th century. In 2401, the ship's captain, Zachary MacAllister, went rogue and ordered the vessel into Gorn space, against orders from Starfleet Command. MacAllister believed the Klingons would target the Federation when they finished fighting the Gorn. They spent three days there, however the first officer and chief medical officer disregarded the captain's orders when the ship happened upon a Klingon patrol. The captain and his supporters headed to the shuttlebay at which point MacAllister escaped the vessel. (STO website: The Path to 2409)
