The Penguin was an arch-nemesis of Batman. As one of Batman's greatest enemies (besides The Joker), Penguin was known for his love of birds and his specialized high-tech umbrellas. As one of Gotham City's top criminals, Penguin almost always tried to cover up his criminal activities with some other false enterprises. Penguin often pretended to legit, and usually won the hearts of all Gothamites before he revealed his true motives.
