The Dread Masters were a group of six powerful Sith Lords, who have existed since the Infinite Empire. Eternal living beings, they had guided the multiple Sith Empire's into wars that Sith Empires both intentionally and unintentionally wanted. They often served as guides or seers to the Sith Emperor during the Second Galactic War and after their final stand during the Collapse of Asation they disappeared, only to resurface during the final years of the Clone Wars.
