The Speed Missiles are the fastest-firing weapons in the entire Twisted Metal Series. In Twisted Metal III, the missiles fire as fast as the primary fire button is pressed and feature a slight homing capability. In Twisted Metal 4, however, Speed Missiles are fired at a steady, quick rate as long as the fire button is held down, but have lost their homing capability. Speed Missiles have the highest capacity of all the weapons in the Twisted Metal series, other than machine guns.
