Thissermounts were a species of stump-legged creature that lived on the desert planet Jakku. They possessed brittle manes of hair and were used as mounts by the anchorites that dwelt on the world. The orphan child Gallius Rax considered thissermounts' manes to be similar in appearance to the dried hair of the various corpses he had seen in Jakku's deserts.
