By 2019, Russia's Government had rapidly expanded its sphere of influence. With NATO and the EU dissolved, Russia manipulated and exploited many of its former allies and build a new empire. Russia had taken control over Ukraine and the Baltics, and formed a new nation known as the Eurasian Union. Vladimir Putin had been able to do this, while Donald Trump not only looked the other way, but openly supported these atrocious acts. When Trump was pushed aside, however, these actions stopped, and Russia's hold over Europe faded.
