Called the Night Witch by friends and enemies alike, Major Ponická was a Flight Leader in the 401st Transport Squadron, an elite group of helicopter pilots that worked exclusively with Eurofed Special Forces units during the war. Her flight specializes in low-altitude, high-speed approaches to minimize air defense threats into and out of the drop zone.
