The X-9000 Light Cruiser is a faster and more heavily-fortified version of the Consular-class Space Cruiser. Unlike the Consular-class, the X-9000 is meant for wartime scenarios and thus isn't painted in diplomatic red like its predecessor. Despite the onset of the Clone Wars, the X-9000 didn't see widespread use as the Galactic Republic moved towards dedicated ships of war instead of variants like the X-9000.
