There are a variety of diseases that can affect ferrets and cause different symptoms to occur. Many of these symptoms can be visible (eg runny eyes, hair loss) or are behavioral (loss of appetite, lethargy). If anything occurs both visibly or behaviorally that is abnormal, and persists for some time, then it is likely that your ferret is ill and needs medical attention.
