Alpha Beta was a supermarket in Southern California. It existed from 1915 to 1996. It was acquired by Acme in 1961. It was sold to Yucaipa after American Stores' purchase of Lucky. When Yucaipa purchased Ralphs, they renamed Alpha Beta to Ralphs.
