Garra Pol was a female Shirn who lived in the 24th century. In 2372, the USS Defiant accidentally interfered with the test of the Daralis Project and caused Pol's starship to disappear. The crew of the Defiant were later able to rescue Pol after Miles O'Brien proved that she could still be alive. (DS9 comics: "Risk, Part One", "Risk, The Conclusion")
