Dr. Ludwig Bildermann (Full Name: Ludwig Adalbert Torben Bildermann) is a Hulstrian Hosian Democratic politician and former Governor-General of Hulstria and Gao-Soto, having served for 16 years in the office. A former diplomat, his nomination to the Governor-General's office was perceived to be a continuation of the HDV tendency to nominate rather apolitical candidates during their long caretaker governing period. A highly respected political figure, Bildermann was re-elected twice to the office, winning three consecutive first-ballot victories, a mark of his broad support base, especially among Liberal voters.
