The Kenobi holocron was created by Obi-Wan Kenobi for his daughter Ariel. Besides containing a vast amount of Jedi knowledge it was also an accounting of Obi-Wan's life and that of Ariel's mother, Genette Tresca. Because of it's very personal nature, Obi-Wan meant the holocron only for Ariel and he ensured that by making the holocron inaccessable to anyone but a Kenobi descendent. Ariel eventually passed the holocron on to her daughter Amara. As of 600 ABY the holocron still exists though Kiera Antilles has revealed its existence to the Jedi Order in order to verify her bloodline.
