Captain Gillan was the captain of The Glass, a vessel that is known to have sailed 212 years ago. Gillan and his crew were killed in a pirate raid shortly after they left Port Lina. The only survivor of the attack was Samuel Scourduel, a now-famous explorer from Varrock.
