The Logan Utah Temple is the 2nd operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On May 17, 1877 the building of the Logan Utah Temple was announced and the day before the site had been dedicated. Construction began soon thereafter. The site of the Logan Temple had been held in reserve for many years. It was used as a park and public grounds before being dedicated as the site for the temple. The Logan Utah Temple has a total of 119,619 square feet, four ordinance rooms, and eleven sealing rooms.
