Acousma is an american psychedelic rock band from Santa Clara, CA by Tim Dollar and Yusef Barnard who had been playing together in bands of different names since 2001. The word means " a sonic hallucination" and accurately describes experimental nature of the group. The band is most known for experimental shows that have been known to go on for up to 9 hours and a signature dual lead guitar sound with bizarre fragmented harmonies.
