The Screen control panel is only for the use Macs with built-in colour monitors with limited hardware for adjustment. Examples of thse include the Macintosh Colour Classic, the Macintosh LC 500 series, and the very rare Macintosh TV. This control panel adjusts the brightness, contrast, and automatic dimming functions of these computers. It is inoperable on any other Macintosh.
