Moskon was a king of Getae who ruled in 3rd century BC around the northern parts of Dobruja and possibly the head of a local tribe union and also had close relations like Rhemaxos to Greek colonies which adopted the Greek style of Administration. The only reason he is proven to exist is because of some silver coins which were found near Tulcea which featured the head of a young man with such long hair, a tiara, and a horseman located on the reverse and it featured writing that said ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΜΟΣΚΩΝΟΣ, Basileos Moskonos, or known as King Moskon.
