The Imperial Circle consists of seventeen Great Houses surrounding the Imperial Palace. Construction of the first Imperial Circle in Dragaera City was begun during the reign of Zerika the Second with the help of Kieron the Younger, although it was not finished until much later in the Cycle. Another Imperial Circle was begun in Adrilankha during the reign of Zerika the Fourth, and was presumably completed only a few decades later.
