The Florist delivered a bouquet of flowers to Liz McDonald at the Rovers from ex-husband Jim McDonald who wanted to ask for another chance of a relationship with her and proposed a meeting at The Flying Horse at 7.30pm. However, the flowers were intercepted by Owen Armstrong outside the pub and he kept the appointment instead when he told Jim to stay out of her way. The ex-army sergeant though was unfazed by Owen's implied threats.
