The Guard saw creation following the Treaty of Ruusann, being re-formed from the Coruscant Guard, and eventually rising to a prominent postion within the Judicial branches of the Republic, serving alongside the Republic Civil Security Groups, whom were formed from the same branch, only several years after the Treaty of Ruusann. The guard also saw use in combating Smuggling rings, and other agressing factions that threatened Republic safety.
