This boss made it's first appearance in Pikmin Adventure (Nintendo Land), and a comeback in Pikmin Ship. It rolls it's tongue out to catch Pikmin in it, a bit like a Whiptongue bulborb. To destroy it easily (in Pikmin Ship), use bomb-rocks and throw one infront of it's tongue, after that, use at least 30 Blue Pikmin to hit it. Follow this technique 3 times and it should be defeated before you know it. It will try to catch you with it's tongue once more, but instead the tongue will hit and pull down a really tall tree.
