A Slice of Pirate Life was a familiar event run in the Y!PP Forums by Crystalclaws of the Looterati in August of 2005. Entrants were asked to create an image depicting a cross-sectional view of some aspect of the YPP world. The first prize of an octopus familiar was given to Rubyspoon. Runners up received themed cutters.
