Shuttle 81572 was a Class Type B Escort Shuttle stolen from the Confederacy of Independent Systems and utilized by the Republic during the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY, it was used by an elite strike team to infiltrate the Separatist prison, the Citadel to free Jedi Master Even Piell from captivity. The shuttle was destroyed by the facility's defense cannons, but the mission was still partially successful.
