Renette (Pronounciation: 'Rii-net') was a feared Pirate Lord in the caribbean, who brought the entire 16th Century planet Earth to its knees in the search of her ex-husband Mappalazarou and his ship, The GateWorld Cantina. She commanded the forces of various pirate cults, the undead, the spirits of long lost pioneers, the souls of a distant underworld and many fearsome sea monsters, such as the Kraken and Gravemind, who carried out her every order. It is still unclear to the crew of the Cantina how Renette came to be in this position of power, but some presume that somehow Mapp is responsible.
