Beasts of the Deepest Woodland is a work on Animal by Landwyn of Merinita, a Welsh Magus of obscure lineage, and written some time in the early ninth century. Little is known of him, save that we was said to have been slain by servants or allies of Damhan-Allaidh some time around 810.
