The Empire of Sweat, along with its rivals Empire of Blood and Empire of Tears, controls much of the land in the Western Continent. Its current nominal ruler is Queen Shvitzer. For years or decades now, the Empire of Sweat has been unwittingly involved in the schemes of the Vector Legion, mainly through the influence of Laurin Shattersmith and Jacinda over Queen Shvitzer. Most recently, it was meant to invade the Free City of Doom, supposedly to liberate it from the Empire of Tears, but in reality to annexate it to itself on behalf of the Vector Legion's ambitions.
