The Base Set for 2004 Skybox LE is made up of 160 cards. The hobby version of the cards are all die cut, but the retail version are not die cut. Cards 1-110 feature major league veterans. Cards 111-160 feature rookies and prospects card that were short printed and serial numbered to either 99 or 299 copies. The short prints were inserted at a rate of 1:18 hobby packs and 1:144 retail packs.
