On Cybertron, a war over political standpoints arose. Among those warriors was a bot named Hot Rodd. He was young and careless, and was drafted into Autobot service. The leader then was named Optimus Prime. He was killed, and Hot Rodd was put as leader. Reborn as Rodimus Prime, Hot Rodd was dedicated to the service of all life and battled Galvatron and his minions valiantly. He was mysteriously abducted.
