Katamantine is a highly durable metal alloy used by various races under many names, but perhaps most enthusiastically by the Hexarians throughout most of their civilised age. Commonly used for the construction of armour plates, the modern era saw the original blending enhanced with the addition of plastic polymer fibres; sometimes known as Advanced Katamantine.
