Silkspiders are paintcolor spiders that weave webs of spider silk. They are native to Henkenne Isle. They are one of only two sources of silk on this Earth, the other being small, insect-like dragons known as silkwyrms native to Kneypenn. Spider's silk is hardier than silkwyrm's, and has magickal properties, though silkspiders are difficult to raise, and have a painful though harmless bite. Silkwyrms are as clever as dogs, however, and can even grow to love them who they are raised by.
