The Entarian Olean was a modified Jedi Warship MK II. The engines had been linked to the turbolasers and the Force Cannon. This allowed them to charge the cannon, while draining the weapons and engines. This sent a shockwave that temporarily disabled the target. The shot drained energy from the target, then shot back into cannon, which could re-fire or return to normal.
