The 2008 Camping World 300 presented by Chevrolet was a Nationwide Series event held at Daytona International Speedway on February 16, 2008. It was the season opener and the first time in 26 years that the series had been anything other than the "Busch Series." Tony Stewart didn't care what the series was called, finding his way to his third victory in the race in the previous four seasons. Teammate Kyle Busch finished 2nd after leading the most laps at the track for the third straight series race.
