Rojak was the first attempt by the great beings to make a non Av-Matoran, however a flaw in his design gave him both the light powers of an Av-Matoran and the innate magnetic power of a Fa-Matoran. He was sent to work as an assistant for Artakha and helped with the creation of the Jetrax T6, but not before a great being cruelly dubbed him "the Fav-Matoran" (Fa+Av). Artakha later worked out a way amplify Rojak's combination of light and magnetism using a toa stone, energised protodermis and a Mask of Mutation turned the matoran into an extemily powerful being. He now had gained extreme strength, toughness and endurance as well as amplified magnetic powers and the same light powers of an Av-matoran. Artakha also attached power turbines to Rojak's arms allowing Rojak to fly, generate cyclones
