The Order of St. Sylvester is a Catholic-ordained order of monks and priests (called "Sylvestrines") that is dedicated to the use of beneficial magic, promote magical awareness within the Church, and to investigate magical phenomena. It is mostly composed of Awakened individuals, but also has several members who simply are knowledgeable in the magical arts, with no talent whatsoever.
