Due to the vast economic differences between the Decreton Lira and the Alliance Credit many trillions of citizens lost many millions in credit once their planets fell to the invading Sith, causing great resentment amongst the populous. This, in part lead to Darth Micail's formation of the Black Guard. By the year 189 ABY, the Decreton Lira had become the staple currency throughout the galaxy, and even the government of the Jedi Autocracy was seen using it.
