The RG530 has the rounded-edge body style and swoopy, rounded headstock of the older Roadstar body. The RG530 features a basswood body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Components include dual Ibanez IBZ humbucking pickups with individual volume controls and Duo-Sound coil-tap functionality and an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut.
