Vogue Paris Original 1113; ©1950; Jacques Fath - ONE-PIECE DRESS, GILET AND SLEEVELESS BLOUSE. Low revers are the Fath signature for this one-piece dress of heavy beige faille. The revers and the draped hipline give the front a jacket-like look. The neckline is filled in by a tucked, bow-tied gilet. There’s a sleeveless, bow-tied blouse to alternate with the gilet. Repeat the same dress in sheer wool crepe, too, with three-quarter length sleeves (from Vogue Pattern Book, October-November 1950)
