This platinum ring is studded with 20 miniscule diamonds. It clasps onto the finger, fitting magically to any humanoid or similarly shaped finger. Upon donning, the wearer becomes instantly aware of what the ring does and how to operate it. All operation is by telepathic command (a free action). Orbs can record up to 20 hours of information about their surroundings, which are played back at the ring wearer's mental command, either in the wearer's mind or projected in a hemisphere on a flat, horizontal plane above the ring (5 feet = .1 inch).
