Hedge Mitchels was a male member of the Trade Spine League, an organization of smugglers and freelance mercenaries that operated in the Anoat sector of the Outer Rim Territories. At some point during the blockade of the sector by the Galactic Empire, Mitchels discovered a mysterious crystal artifact amongst his cargo, and he intended to donate it to a museum.
