The Halcyon-class minesweepers were a type of starship on active duty in Starfleet during the late 23rd century. They entered service about 2268. (Federation Reference Series 6) Like the Black Swan-class large sloops and the Guillemot-class sloops, the Halcyons were a successor class to the Flower-class sloops of the Four Years War period.
